I have a confession to make:  for me, painting is a love affair.  I love color, I love beauty, and mood, and mystery, and space.  I love brushstrokes.  I love thin shimmering washes of watercolor and thick impasto strokes of acrylic.  I like crayon marks and fine pen lines…I love to make images and compositions using any or all of these elements, and I want to share them with other people.  That is my joy and my gratitude as an artist.
